NASP/IASP is currently an IACET (International Association for Continuing Education Training) provider for Continuing Education Units. In 2020, NASP will have two of our upper-level professional safety certifications which have been developed for today’s Safety Professional accredited by ANSI. Emphasis on these certifications will be on PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS for individuals responsible for developing and implementing OHS programs in the workplace. These certifications will be tests, NOT courses. Taking an NASP Prep Course for either the CSDTM or MSPTM is not required, but highly recommended. In addition, the name of the current Licensed Safety Professional (LSP) certification will change to the Master Safety Professional (MSPTM) to comply with ANSI 17024 standards and will be the highest-level certification offered by NASP, and accredited by this prestigious organization.
